Harvey exits with groin strain

SARASOTA, Fla. – Orioles top pitching prospect Hunter Harvey left Tuesday’s intrasquad game with a groin strain.

Harvey is scheduled to be re-evaluated by a doctor on Wednesday according to executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette. While it’s unclear how serious the injury is, the Orioles are expected to be cautious with the 21-year-old Harvey, who missed all of last season.

Harvey fractured his fibula in Spring Training last year and dealt with elbow issues. He suffered the groin injury in the third inning at the team’s Minor League facility at Twin Lakes Park.

Swimming (australian crawl) maybe a lonely sport but its a great sport for pitchers; strenghtens arms, torax, legs, endurance, shoulders, waist, and lungs. Start Harvey with 25-30 laps per day in a 25ft long pool for a week and step it up to 50laps after that (same for Bundy and Gonzalez).
Also, its not a stretch to try an accomplish swimmer for a pitching position (a healthy arm can be taught pitching inside 2years) Carlos
