The Os and Toronto –with a magic number of 1 to clinch the division– will play a pair of games today, weather permitting.

Manny Machado is expected to play both games, as he remains on track to play all 162 games this season. It’s an impressive feat, especially since he’s coming off consecutive season-ending knee surgeries.

As the season comes to a close, manager Buck Showalter is doing exit interviews and the players are starting to pack up and make plans. Left-handed pitcher Brian Matusz will have surgery on Monday on his non-throwing shoulder, Showalter said. It’s an outpatient procedure and he is still available to pitch over the next six games.
