Orioles-Red Sox finale

The Orioles and Red Sox will play the rubber match this afternoon with the O’s hosting Little League Day a night removed from Freddie Gray protests that made national news outside of Camden Yards. (More on that here.) Today’s game is going off as schedule, just like last night’s did.

Not a whole lot of pregame news, but manager Buck Showalter did say that J.J. Hardy –who had a Cortisone injection in his left shoulder on Saturday–will likely need 3-4 rehab games when he’s ready to go out. Hunter Harvey is slated to throw his first full bullpen session in Sarasota, Fla. on Wednesday while Wesley Wright is also getting close to starting a throwing program to return.
