Orioles @ Nationals lineups & pregame notes (updated)

Greetings from Nationals Park, where the Orioles will take on the Nats for two games here and then two more back in Baltimore.

*The Orioles are considering flipping Miguel Gonzalez and Ubaldo Jimenez’s starts, which would push Gonzalez up to Thursday. The theory is they can get an extra reliever for Friday’s game with the looming All-Star Break.

*Steve Johnson (right shoulder tendinitis) is starting a rehab assignment for short-season Aberdeen.

*Dylan Bundy’s next outing for Class-A Advanced Frederick, his second start for the Keys, will be on Thursday at Salem.

*Adam Jones and Steve Pearce have been named American League Co-Players of the Week and you can read more about that here.

*Julio DePaula has been promoted from Double-A Bowie and will add insurance to the bullpen. DePaul was signed in late June and it was actually former Oriole Mark Hendrickson –who had a recent tryout for the O’s- that encouraged the organization to look at DePaula, who had been pitching with him in York.

Who Is DH for tonights game???

National league park….NO DH

Davis needs to make the lineup spot count with Pearce out

Chris Tillman is a flop he fails in all the big games he gives up early runs; he will give up early runs in tonights game with DC; and we will be down 4-0 by the 4th inning; it’s time to demote this guy he is not a quality starter every start he falls behind early even if he improves in later innings the damage is done; demote this guy he’ cooked.
