I remember Paul Blair as an excellent, smooth, effortlessly looking outfielder. I never knew him personally but watched him play many, many times when with Baltimore and his brief stay with the Yankees. He always seemed to have a smile on his face and also seemed to be well liked by teammates.
Prayers to his family and friends.

thanks

As a young kid I spent my entire summers at Dunn Field in Elmira NY where many future Orioles made their minor league stop. Paul was one of those who came through Elmira and displayed his talents day in and day out. Always fun to watch especially his defensive skills which was second to none. A great player and an even greater person., RIP Paul Blair
