Showalter and Giradi exchange words as benches clear

Both benches cleared after the first inning tonight, with Orioles manager Buck Showalter yelling at Yankees manager Joe Girardi, who television cameras caught jawing at O’s third base coach Bobby Dickerson as he jogged to the dugout.  Showalter, who had to be restrained by the umpiring crew, was screaming ‘That’s not right,” and holding up an index finger and order was restored after several minutes with no ejections.

Oriole starter Chris Tillman was issued a warning by home plate umpire Ed Hickox before the second inning started.

You can watch the television clip recapping the altercation here.
