Orioles @ Rays series finale lineups and pregame notes (updated)

*Wilson Betemit had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in Baltimore yesterday, to get a few things cleaned up and for the organization to make sure there wasn’t anything unexpected in there. The procedure is not expected to change his timetable of 6-8 weeks and was performed by Dr. John Wilckens.

*Pitcher Steve Johnson (strained right lat) started a long toss progression yesterday as he works his way back.

*Dylan Bundy, who was placed on the seven-day Minor League disabled list, through today with no reported right elbow discomfort. The organization remains optimistic it’s just a minor issue with Bundy’s elbow.

*Manager Buck Showalter said there are two options the team is discussing, feasibly three, in terms of a roster move on Saturday to activate Chris Tillman. Tillman will start that game and –asked if he could play with a short bench– Showalter said all options are still on the table.

*The Orioles have claimed right-handed pitcher Josh Stinson off waivers from the A’s and have optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk, where he will work out of the starting rotation. So Norfolk’s rotation right now will be Zach Clark, Jair Jurrjens, Zach Britton, Freddy Garcia and Stinson.
