Around the Horn: Second Base
With pitchers and catchers scheduled to report to Sarasota, Fla., in a little more than a month, it’s not too early to start dissecting the Orioles’ 2013 roster. The Around the Horn series will take a position-by-position look at the club’s projected starters and other options heading into Spring Training.
This week, I took a look at the team’s options at second base and you can read the rest of that story here.
Who do you think will end up being the Opening Day second baseman? Who will get the bulk of this year’s playing time?

We cannot count on Roberts at 2nd base though I certainly hope he will be O.K. Certainly the bench warmers D.D. signed will take up space and not be productive. We need a speedy, good hit & field 2nd baseman as well as a 1st baseman/outfielder middle of the order guy!! We lost out on LaRoche because we did not want to give up a draft pick. Even though we did not not get Trout when he was available hope springs eternal we will get a hitter.
