There’s an old classmate that I haven’t talked to since 7th grade, back in ’97. He wrote on my Facebook wall a couple of weeks ago about the joy that we used to have when writing the scores on our homeroom announcement board, and just talking about Palmeiro, Alomar, Ripken, Hoiles, etc. Watching the O’s now gives us that same amazing feeling, and reminds us so much of that awesome middle school O’s era that we took for granted. I’m so glad that none of us gave up on the birds. Just felt like being a little nostalgic!
