SI: “The Unlikely Sports Capital”
The Orioles are on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Oct. 1 issue with articles on Nationals manager Davey Johnson and Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. The headline on the cover of the national magazine is “The Unlikely Sports Capital” and the story on the O’s is called Down to the Wire and is written by David Simon, the creator of the hit Baltimore-based television series The Wire.
