Orioles announce postseason ticket options

The Orioles have announced three options for fans to purchase postseason tickets, which will be available exclusively online. Fans are encouraged to visit http://www.orioles.com/postseason for a postseason seating chart, schedule and additional ticket information.  All three options are for fans to purchase Wild Card and American League Division Series tickets (ALCS and World Series tickets will be made available for sale at a later date, if necessary).

Option 1

Fans will receive the opportunity to purchase postseason tickets before the general public by placing a $250 per seat deposit on a 2013 full or partial season ticket plan, including 13-game plans. Fans who place a deposit by midnight tonight will have access to an exclusive online-only pre-sale on Thursday, September 20 at 2p.m. Beginning tomorrow, 2013 deposits will no longer guarantee fans an opportunity to participate in this pre-sale.

Option 2

Fans can enter the postseason ticket opportunity with a valid email address at http://www.orioles.com/postseason for a chance to be selected to participate in a special pre-sale prior to tickets being released to the general public. Fans are encouraged to enter the postseason ticket opportunity in order to have a better chance at acquiring postseason tickets; however, fans who enter are not guaranteed to be chosen for the opportunity.

Option 3

A public sale for Wild Card and American League Division Series tickets will take place on Saturday, September 22 at 10:00 a.m. exclusively online at http://www.orioles.com/postseason. Ticket availability is expected to be limited and tickets may sell out quickly.

Thanks, Britt! Any idea when fans will hear if they’ve been selected as part of Option 2?

No, but I’ll keep you all updated if I hear.

Off the subject but I am really glad to see Andino back where he belongs,at 2nd base starting everyday. He is very popular with his team mates and does a great job at 2nd. He proved last year that if played everyday he will produce with the bat. Can’t help but to think what the future looks like with Reimold coming back next spring and many other young players possibilities. Guys like Bundy, Steve Johnson(who should be in the rotation now) and others. Do you think Buck will go to a 6 man rotation next year. Looks to me like this may be the next trend in the majors. Thanks for the ticket info. Keep us up to date. Can’t get enough O’s news these days. Fan since 1954 and loving this season so much. I was beginning to think I would never see the O’s back in a pennant race. Thank Mr. Angelos, Dan and Buck for making my life(summers) fun again. O”s 4 ever.
