Legg Mason going orange for O’s
The lights at the top of the Legg Mason building in Baltimore will glow orange beginning tonight in conjunction with the O’s vs. Yankees game and the unveiling of the Cal Ripken, Jr. statue at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The orange lights will be lit at dusk tonight and remain orange through the remainder of the Orioles season.
As a Baltimore corporate citizen, we want to show our support for the Orioles as they enter the home stretch,” Legg Mason CEO Mark Fetting said in a statement. “Legg Mason and our Baltimore-based employees are rooting for them to do well this season. We’re challenging the corporate community and the citizens of Baltimore to join us in showing their support for the Orioles and to turn the city orange.”
On Friday, Legg Mason will celebrate “Orange Friday” with employees encouraged to wear something orange to support the Orioles.
