Orioles @ Blue Jays

*The Orioles officially recalled Zach Britton, who is starting tonight, this afternoon.

*As a reminder, the Orioles will be featured in a new national TV series called Caught Looking, produced by Major League Baseball Productions and airing on NBC Sports Network.  It will center on this past weekend’s series between the Orioles and the Yankees, as crews from MLB Productions will be embedded behind the scenes with both teams, producing a one-hour show debuting this Thursday at 9:00 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

Caught Looking will give viewers an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes during a pennant race including an in-depth look at each game from different angles and perspectives than fans are used to seeing.  A different series with playoff implications will be featured each week for the rest of the season.

*On September 8, Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards is hosting a number of events in culmination of the Orioles vs. Yankees series, including a block party with an all-you-can-eat food package and a ticket to the game. Ticket options include $65.00 for a ticket to the game and an all you can eat drink food package or $36.00 for an all you can eat drink food package if you already have your game ticket.

Prior to the Block Party, Sports Legends Museum will also be hosting a book signing and program with Marty Appel. Fans can learn insider history within the New York Yankees from the time he began his tenure with the Yankees handling fan mail for Mickey Mantle, to his career as Public Relations Director of the team. Appel’s newly released book, Pinstripe Empire: The New York Yankees from Before the Babe to After the Boss, will be available for purchase.

Following the Mary Appel program, fans will have the opportunity to meet the Great Bambino’s daughter, Julia Ruth Stevens, as she shares stories about her “Daddy” with the audience and signs autographs. Julia is 96 years young and sharp in her memories of her father, Babe Ruth.  The Appel book signing and Julia Ruth Stevens’ appearance are free with standard museum admission.
