No Davis or Betemit. Not sure I like the lineup even with a lefty going for the Mets. Best hitters are needed when you face a guy this good. Buck is the man so I hope he is right. At bleast we have some good bats from the left side if we knockout the starter. That’s the problem. do we have enough offense to knock him out. Go O’s

As I commented yesterday((see 1st comment) the line upn was terrible. You just can’t put Andino, Tolleson, Pearce and the pitcher in the game at the same time with JJ>J> not hitting. We gave ourselves very little chance to win. Betemit and Davis needed to be in last nights game for any chance to win. Sorry Buck but you used very poor judgement unless they were hurting. They weren’t. Let’s get them back in the game. Danny D. we need a bat. Find us a 3rd baseman we can build with who can field and hit. Pay the price and reap the rewards. Go O’s

Maybe I am being “baseball stupid” but I could never understand this deal of holding guys out of the lineup who are hot just because they bat from the same side as the pitcher throws. Play your best players left handed or right handed. You may be pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
