Reimold leaves team to get checked out by O’s doctors
Orioles manager Buck Showalter told MLB Network Radio this morning that Nolan Reimold took a train from New York back to Baltimore to be checked out by team doctors following Monday night’s game and Showalter confirmed to MLB.com in a text message that Reimold had his back checked out.
Reimold, who saw his 14-game hit streak snapped last night, has been dealing with neck spasms for roughly two weeks and –while he got a few days off to try to get a handle on the issue — admitted prior to yesterday’s game that the injury was still dogging him.
We should have more info on Reimold’s condition from Showalter later this afternoon. The O’s manager reportedly told MLB Network Radio Reimold was dealing with some fingertip tingling as well. It appears Reimold would probably not be an option for tonight’s game against the Yankees.

They didn’t have any MDs in New York they trusted to look at him?
