Orioles @ Yankees lineups and pregame tidbits

*Nolan Reimold has a bulging disk in his back and has received a Medrol Dosepak, which is a steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation, to help calm things down.  Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Reimold was also dealing with some fingertip tingling after Monday night’s game and the assumption right now is this is all related to the neck spasms that have plagued Reimold for most of the last two weeks.  The hope is Reimold, who went back to Baltimore this morning to be examined by the team physicians, can return for Friday’s series opener against the Boston Red Sox.

*Tsuyoshi Wada had an MRI and a CT scan on his left elbow during a visit to Dr. Lewis Yocum out in LA, and the diagnosis was the same in that Wada has a partial tear in his ligament and can either undergo surgery to repair or do rest and rehab. Executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette said that decision is expected from Wada in the next couple of days.

*The Orioles rotation will be adjusted following Thursday’s off day,and Showalter said those changes could be announced as soon as after tonight’s game.
