Orioles/Royals lineups & pregame tidbits

*It’s not official, but expect Chris Tillman to start Saturday’s game, taking the roster spot of Jake Arrieta, who will be put on the disabled list tomorrow.

*Cesar Izturis will be activated from the DL prior to Friday’s homestand opener against Toronto,  with third baseman Josh Bell the most likely candidate to be optioned back to Triple-A. The team would prefer Bell –who has had just 11 at-bats since July 18 gets to play every day.

*Mike Bordick will be the interim bullpen coach starting Friday and will be in that role for the 10-game homestand. Bordick will be inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame on the 13th.
