Orioles/Reds pregame tidbits and lineups

*Manager Buck Showalter and president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail conducted the yearly  State of the Orioles Q&A session with season ticket holders  on top of the dugout prior to today’s game.

*Starter Jake Arrieta (right elbow inflammation) will do take a work day and throw a bullpen session Sunday. Assuming he comes through that OK, he will pitch as scheduled Wednesday.

*Brian Roberts got his wisdom teeth removed today and has resumed his approved conditioning plan in extended spring.

*And the Orioles agreed to terms with their fourth round pick in this year’s Draft, right-handed pitcher Kyle Simon out of the University of Arizona.

*Alfredo Simon (strained right hamstring) is slated to pitch 1-2 innings in Double-A Bowie on Sunday.  He isn’t expected to go more than 40 pitches.
