Machado to start baseball activities
I mentioned this last night but it probably got lost in the shuffle given the crazy events of the Orioles 15-inning 4-1 loss.
Top prospect Manny Machado, who has been sidelined since dislocating his left kneecap on May 5, has headed to the team’s spring complex in Sarasota and is expected to start baseball activities on Friday. Machado will be on a rehab program that figures to be 3-5 days and he will get some at-bats down there after that. The whole process is expected to last at least 7-8 days.
