Gonzalez's timetable
An update to what I mentioned previously on Michael Gonzalez’s rehab program. He will throw another inning in the Gulf Coast League on Friday and then will need about three outings in Double or Triple-A next week. If he has no setbacks, he will join the team for the road trip that starts July 2 in Boston.

Gonzalez had better get his velocity up into the 90′s ! A closer who can’t throw at least 90 mph will get eaten alive in the American league with the DH . This is NOT the National league where you get freebie outs with pitchers hitting or trying to bunt. I hope he’s not another Atkin’s type bust.
Like to see what he can do when he is healthy. May as well see what he can do in Fenway. Hopefully he is all the way back to what he was last year. He signed for big money so he needs to perform. But then so do a lot of O’s.
