Sabathia slights the Orioles
Yankees ace CC Sabathia just picked up the win against the Phillies in a World Series rematch. When asked about beating someone not named the Orioles this is what he said: “I’ve beat them four times this year. It feels good to get a win against a good team.”
Granted the Orioles have 17 wins this season, so it’s fair to not include them as a “good team”. Still a little bit of a slight there, in my opinion.

But you can’t argue with our record IT STINKS and I don’t see McPhail doing anything but shuttling pitchers the offense needs to be addressed if not right now at least in a statement letting us (fans) know he has a plan to deal with the offense!

I didn’t know that Sabathia said this. Thanks for posting it, Britt. Now if it would only get the O’s mad enough to take it out on the Yanks.
Sabathia has every right to say what he did. He has owned the O’s and they don’t have an answer. If he walks the talk then let him talk. The O’s don’t demand or command respect right now. I am sure he enjoys when they expand the zone and show no patience against him. I think Sabathia was pointing out that wins against good teams probably mean more to him and he enjoys the challenge versus blowout wins.
