Now What?
By now, you’ve heard. Dave Trembley is out, Juan Samuel is in. At least on an interim basis.
Orioles president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail is very close to the vest, so don’t expect him to throw out a list of names or even confirm any speculation about how many candidates there are.
But make no mistake, MacPhail already has a list in mind and the organization will move forward immediately in their search to name a permanent replacement. If I had to guess, we’re talking weeks, not months.
