Turner to Buffalo

President of baseball operations Andy MacPhail just confirmed that Justin Turner has been claimed off waivers by the New York Mets. The Mets have out righted Turner to Triple-A Buffalo.

Turner was taken off the 40-man roster when the team purchased the contract of Scott Moore prior to Interleague play on Friday.
