Down on the Farm: Britton Edition
Double-A Bowie’s Zach Britton tossed five scoreless innings today in the Baysox 9-0 win over Harrisburg.
Britton only allowed two hits, and didn’t walk a batter but was struck with a comebacker in the fifth, which ended up being his last frame. He didn’t exit immediately and said he’s shoulder’s a little swollen but he should be fine.
The win improved his record to 2-2 on the season with a 3.60 ERA. I’ll try to talk to Britton before the Orioles game starts, so check back on the blog for an update.
