Will we see any flare-ups with Jeremy Guthrie if he goes inside and hits someone? As expected that was a non-issue pregame since it’s behind the Yankees and Orioles. But still worth keeping in mind. Guthrie has been more successful this season partly because of his willingness to go inside more often. Will it change the way he pitches tonight?

*Koji will throw the second of a back-to-back rehab outing tonight and will rest for two days after. So the earliest he would be activated would be for the Minnesota series.

*Luke Scott called his current slump the most frustrating of his career and said he has no problem with Trembley’s decision to not play him as often.
