Os 25 man roster is set

The Orioles made their 25-man roster official following
Friday’s game, designating utility man Robert Andino for assignment,
reassigning Kam Mickolio to Norfolk and adding lefty specialist Will Ohman to
the roster.

The previous announcement to place Koji Uehara (left hamstring
strain) on the 15 day disabled list trims the Orioles roster to the necessary

With Thursday’s trade for veteran middle infielder Julio
Lugo, Andino’s fate was all but decided. The 25-year-old will be placed on
waivers and if he is not claimed by another team the Orioles have expressed an
interest in sending Andino to Triple-A.

With the addition of Ohman the Orioles Opening Day bullpen
includes Jason Berken, Matt Albers, Cla Meredith, Mark Hendrickson, Jim Johnson
and closer Mike Gonzalez.

The 32-year-old  Ohman went 2-0
with a 1.08 ERA in 10 Spring Training appearances and will be used as a lefty
specialist. In 324 major league appearances with the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta
Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers, Ohman is 11-9 with a 4.25 ERA (231.0IP, 109ER)
and has held left-handed batters to a .204 average (85-417).

So your official 25 man roster looks like this:

Infielders (8): Miguel Tejada, Cesar Izturis, Brian Roberts, Garrett Atkins, Ty Wigginton, Julio Lugo, Matt Wieters, Craig Tatum

Outfielders (5): Nolan Reimold, Felix Pie, Nick Markakis, Adam Jones, Luke Scott

Pitchers (12): Kevin Millwood, Jeremy Guthrie, Brian Matusz, Brad Bergesen, David Hernandez, Jason Berken, Matt Albers, Cla Meredith, Mark Hendrickson, Jim Johnson, Will Ohman, Mike Gonzalez.
