Orioles-Phillies Lineups & Tidbits
There will be limited pregame stuff, as
manager Dave Trembley travels to Bradenton this morning for the
“B” squad game in Pirate City. That game is not open to the public
and will start at 10 a.m. One of this afternoon’s starters, Josh Bell,
will play third for the six-inning morning contest and then DH against the
Phillies. Jake Arrieta is starting the B game with Brandon Erbe, Troy
Patton, Chorye Spoone and Luis Lebron scheduled to follow.
I checked in with Michael
Aubrey this morning and he said he felt something in his right groin during
his first at-bat yesterday. Trembley removed him from the game and Aubrey said
he will get some treatment today, hopefully to calm it down.
“It’s extremely frustrating,” said Aubrey, who singled in his
first at-bat Saturday. “[I'm] trying to put myself in a good position, but
you can’t do that if you’re not playing.”
Aubrey is not in either lineup today
and wasn’t sure when he’d play next.
Some good lineups from both teams this
morning, with Nolan Reimold getting his second start of the spring in
left field. Trembley said yesterday that he was going to play Reimold in the
field on Monday against the Red Sox, which now would mean back-to-back days in
the field. Reimold hasn’t done that yet this spring.

to the public. Kevin Millwood and Jim Johnson are expected to throw in that game.
