Orioles-Rays Pregame Tidbits, Lineup

Update 9:02: Just got word that there will be some news out of Os camp around 9:30. As always check back here and on Twitter for the latest updates.

So while the Nats’ Stephen Strasburg makes his debut, there are a few other games
going on Tuesday afternoon. Namely, the Orioles and the Rays, who will face off
for the third time in Grapefruit League play.

Nolan Reimold will make his second start of the spring, playing left field for the first time since getting in a few innings during the team’s intrasquad game.  Given the lack of any sort of news in Orioles camp, some of the guys were teasing Reimold about all the attention his left Achilles tendon is getting.  But the Orioles have been adamant about taking it slow with Reimold (who had surgery on the tendon in September) so that he’s ready by Opening Day.

According to AccuWeather.com (my new best friend this spring), there’s a chance
of afternoon showers. Let’s hope they get the game in delay-free.

Justin Turner was walking around the clubhouse this morning sans ice or a wrap. His left foot, which was struck by a ball hit by Garrett Atkins during Friday’s BP, seems to have come down considerably. So he should be back soon.
