A Nice Catch
Matt Wieters will be on the covers of the newest Sports Illustrated, slated to hit newsstands tomorrow. The covers shot features Wieters in his catching gear and is titled, “The Perfect Catch.” Tom Verducci wrote the story.
Wieters is the first Orioles to grace the cover since Roberto Alomar did it over 13 years ago. Unfortunately, I don’t have the rights to blog the cover shot. But I’ve seen it, and it’s pretty impressive.
