Where are all the pictures?
I’m sorry I’ve been slacking on today’s pictures on the blog and Twitter. There was a wireless Internet outage most of the morning, and I’ve been working from behind.
Below, I’ve got some tidbits from the pregame session and game notes. And I promise the pictures will resume for Thursday’s game in Port Charlotte. I’ve never been there but that complex is supposed to be great; a lot of the Rays players and staff were raving about it. Joe Maddon in particular.

Special Spring Training Events
*March 12: Seniors run the bases: Orioles fans 60 and over can take to the basepaths after the Orioles vs. Marlins game. Fans can walk or run at their own pace.
*March 20: Youth Baseball Day: Little Leaguers, in uniform, take part in a pre-game parade on the field, then stay to enjoy the Os vs. Pirates game. To reserve a spot, please call (941) 954-4104.
*April 3: Kids run the bases: Kids 14 and under can run the bases at Ed Smith Stadium following the Orioles vs. Mets game.
